Suntop Construction Defects

Casey Law, PLLC is currently litigating a mass action lawsuit against LGI Homes for 73 of the homeowners in Suntop Farms.  We paid for inspections of all of these homes and identified that all of the homes have improper installation of the siding and roof shingles, which allows normal fall and winter storms to tear apart newly constructed homes.

Damage documented in July 2023

Own a home in Suntop?  Try this:

Walk out to the side or back of your home and lift the lower edge of your siding planks. You may be surprised to see that you can pull the bottom of the siding away from the home without tools or straining.  (“Siding Lift” video) This does not happen with properly installed siding, and this will eventually lead to the siding being torn from your home. In the meantime, water is rolling down the siding and can breach the water barrier of your home.
